Getting started with Kytabook

We are Ouimind, a team of expert developers and passionate designers who aim to improve children reading experience through this app.
Kytabook is currently available on Play Store and soon we will launch it on App Store.
Kytabook is a free app where you can find many stories to read, with some books available for free and others for purchase.

Profile and Account settings

When you open the app, navigate to the settings section and select connect. You can either sign in using your Facebook or Google account, or choose Sign up to create a new account. Fill in the required fields, and a verification mail will be sent to you to confirm your registration.
You can edit your kid’s profile by modifying his password, you can even request to modify or delete his account
In the settings section, tap on the pencil icon next to your account name. You can only edit the account name. Once done, tap save to apply the changes.
If you are logged in, start by signing out. Then tap connect and select Forgot your password? (located at the bottom right). Enter your email adress and click submit. You will recieve a password reset link in your inbox to complete the process.
In the settings section, tap on the line-block icon and then select sign out to log out of your account
In the settings section, tap on the line-block icon and then delete account. If you confirm by tapping yes, all the books in your library will be permenently deleted Click here for more details
Yes of course, actually we are supporting an unlimited number of devices.
Tap on the setting icon (located on the bottom-left of the screen), and then tap on the language you want to switch to.

Reading and App Features

Once you log in into the app, you will be directed to the homescreen, where you will find a wide selection of books to choose from. Simply purchase the book you like, and it will be instantly added to your library so you can start reading right away.
No, you will need stable internet connection to read the books but we are working on making the app availble for offline usage.
This option is availble only if the book includes translations. While reading, tap on the settigns icon(located at the top right corner) then select the pencil icon. Choose your preferred language. You can switch between any of the languages available for that book.
Once a book is open, use the arrows located at the bottom corners of the screen to turn pages. Alternatively, tap the page number in the bottom center to open a page selector, and choose the page you want to jump to.
Go to the book details section, tap on my rating, select the number of stars you want to give, and then click submit to save your review.
Yes, your reading progress is automatically saved. When you reopen a book, you will be given the option to either "Start over from the beginning" or "Continue from where I left off". Simply select the option you prefer, and you can resume reading.
