Service is the Kytabook™ Mobile Application and/or www.Kytabook.com associated services.

Personally identifiable information

Refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact a living individual . Personally Identifiable Information does not include information that is collected anonymously.

Usage Data

This data is collected automatically when generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example: the language used on the Mobile Application)

Cookies

Small files stored on your device. and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns.

What Personally Identifiable Information is collected?

We may collect basic user profile information from all of our Visitors. The information collected from our users may include, but is not limited to:

What organizations are collecting the information?

In addition to our direct collection of information, our third party service vendors who may provide services such as accounts management may collect this information from our Users. third parties are  only intermediares that have access to your personal data in order to perform certain tasks ,monitor and analyse the use of our service. They are obligated not to disclose or use colleced data for other purposes.

Firebase is provided by Google inc, it’s a realtime database that lets you build secure databases.

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that we complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

How is Personally Identifiable Information stored?

Personally Identifiable Information collected by kytabook is securely stored  and is not accessible to third parties or employees of kytabook except for use as indicated above. Whenever this data is transmitted, we take reasonable steps to ensure the privacy of your personal data

Are Cookies Used on the Site?

Cookies are used for a variety of reasons. We use Cookies to obtain information about the preferences of our Visitors and the services they select. We also use Cookies for security purposes to protect our Authorized Customers. For example, if an Authorized Customer is logged on and the site is unused for more than 10 minutes, we will automatically log the Authorized Customer off. Visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using kytabook.com, with the drawback that certain features of the website may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

How does the Site keep Personally Identifiable Information secure?

All of our employees are familiar with our security policy and practices. The Personally Identifiable Information of our Visitors and Authorized Customers is only accessible to a limited number of qualified employees who are given a password in order to gain access to the information. While we take commercially reasonable measures to maintain a secure site, electronic communications and databases are subject to errors, tampering, and break-ins, and we cannot guarantee or warrant that such events will not take place and we will not be liable to Visitors or Authorized Customers for any such occurrences.

Can a Visitor delete or deactivate Personally Identifiable Information collected by the Site?

We provide users with a mechanism to delete/deactivate Personally Identifiable Information from the Site’s database by accessing the settings in their profile. However, because of backups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to delete a Visitor’s entry without retaining some residual information. An individual who requests to have Personally Identifiable Information deactivated will have this information functionally deleted, and we will not sell, transfer, or use Personally Identifiable Information relating to that individual in any way moving forward.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service addresses anyone and in particular children under the age of 13 years, “children”, “child”. We recognize the need to provide further privacy protections with respect to personal information we may collect from children in case the parents decide to create an account with their children’s personal data. We do not knowingly collect information from children without their parent’s permission and authorization, and when we intend to do so we take special measures to protect their personally identifiable information including:

– obtaining consent from parents before collecting such information is important so if we become aware that children have submitted their personal data without consulting their parents we take steps to remove that information from our servers

– giving parents the right to request access to information we have collected from their children and thus the access to review, delete, update, correct or refuse to permit further collection

– we encourage kids to ask their parents before submitting any personal data, parents involvement in their kids online activity is critical to ensure their online activities are safe and friendly

Compliance With Laws

Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information to comply with the law. We will disclose Personally Identifiable Information in order to comply with a court order or subpoena or a request from a law enforcement agency to release information. We will also disclose Personally Identifiable Information when reasonably necessary to protect the safety of our users.

What happens if the Privacy Policy Changes?

We will let our Visitors and Authorized Customers know about changes to our privacy policy by posting such changes on the Site. However, if we are changing our privacy policy in a manner that might cause disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information that a Visitor or Authorized Customer has previously requested not be disclosed, we will contact such User to allow him to prevent such disclosure.
